I am pleased to announce that The Singing Company, led by Eric Himes, has been commissioned as the Territorial Praise Team. The praise team will function as a young adult ministry of the Territorial Youth Department. All members of the group are Salvationists, active in their corps and their membership has been endorsed by their corps officers and divisional commander.

Although quality music making and performance engagements will be a normal part of the group’s activities, it is also expected they will model effective, relevant ministry through small, praise team type groups; train others in the effective use of praise and worship teams; conduct classes and seminars on praise and worship at territorial leadership events such as CBLI and CMI; and update and creatively incorporate traditional Christian hymns and Salvation Army songs in their repertoire.
